Ahmad Sami, MD, Pediatric GI Fellow and Carolina Child Health Scholar, was awarded a Young Investigator Award for basic research for his oral presentation titled, 鈥淯rolithin A attenuates inflammation and enhances intestinal barrier function in necrotizing enterocolitis.鈥� This work was also highlighted in the SSPR Showcase of Science.
