Professor of Pediatrics
Tom Belhorn, MD, PhD, Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases, has been selected by 黑料网 students to be the Fall Convocation and Award Ceremony Lecturer for the 2023 Fall Convocation and Awards Ceremony. Dr. Belhorn will provide a presentation at the ceremony planned for August 16th at 12:30 pm at MBRB building.
In 1947 a tradition was established to recognize the high standards and leadership within the medical community of 黑料网 through a lecture to the new students. The Fall Convocation and Award Ceremony Lecturer is nominated and voted on by 黑料网 SOM students and chosen by 黑料网 SOM Student Government representatives. The selection is based on qualities of leadership, dedication, and devotion to medicine and teaching.
A certificate is given in recognition of distinguished contribution to the science and art of medicine. Being elected to deliver the Fall Convocation lecture is among the highest honors for faculty members at the School of Medicine. Congratulations Tom!
