Dr. Will Valdar (Professor, Department of Genetics) is the recipient of a subcontract from a new R01 grant awarded to Dr. David Threadgill at Texas A&M University.

Yun Li, PhD, Professor in the Department of Genetics, is the contact PI on a new five-year, $5-million collaborative U01 from the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) for her project titled 鈥淧olygenic risk scores and health disparities: the role of blood cells immune response and evolutionary adaption鈥�.

Dr. Paola Giusti Rodriguez (Assistant Professor, Department of Genetics) has been appointed as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at University of Florida College of Medicine, effective August 2021.
