If this field is left blank, the gallery will not sort properly.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"imgBorderMed\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/webguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/419\/2020\/04\/reverse-display-name.png\" alt=\"example reverse display name field\" width=\"600\" height=\"359\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/webguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/419\/2020\/04\/reverse-display-name.png 1000w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/webguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/419\/2020\/04\/reverse-display-name-300x179.png 300w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/webguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/419\/2020\/04\/reverse-display-name-768x459.png 768w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/webguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/419\/2020\/04\/reverse-display-name-600x359.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Override and Sort Order<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Override Alphabetical Sort<\/strong>: check this option if the person should have priority placement in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/webguide\/userguide\/people-directory\/gallery\/\">gallery view<\/a>.\u00a0 This option is often used for department chairs and center directors. It will place them ahead of everyone else in the gallery view.
