The study, published in Arthritis Care & Research, showed that both low education and occupation were associated with worsening pain.
The conclusion of the study was that low educational attainment and non-professional occupation status were associated with increased worsening of patient reported outcome scores. However, there were no corresponding increases in radiographically assessed erosion or JSN score progression.
