An Unforgettable Two Days of Learning, Camaraderie, and Celebration at the 36th Annual 黑料网 May Day Trauma Conference
Now a proud North Carolina tradition, 黑料网 Tar Heel Trauma hosted its 36th Annual 黑料网 May Day Trauma Conference on May 1鈥�2, 2025, at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.
Over two high-impact days, trauma care professionals from across the region came together for dynamic education, meaningful connection, and well-deserved celebration.
The excitement kicked off the day prior with a spirited pre-hospital competition, where paramedic teams from six agencies faced off in a high-energy showdown that set an inspiring tone for the conference.
A crisp spring morning ushered in the official start of the conference, launching with two compelling sessions on Hurricane Helene and continuing with a packed schedule of plenary and breakout presentations from top-tier local and national experts.
The conference experience was elevated by a vibrant vendor expo, an outdoor exhibition with Carolina Air Care, super-fun photobooth, and a silent auction benefiting the Trauma Survivors Network.
As a special highlight this year, each attendee received a commemorative challenge coin marking five years since the COVID-19 pandemic. The accompanying card read in part:
