The Department of Radiation Oncology hosted its First Annual Quality and Safety Retreat, held on Friday, April 7, 2017 in the Sanofi-Aventis Conference Room 1 on the ground floor of the NC Cancer Hospital. The half-day program featured keynote speaker , a systems thinking interactive workshop, a panel discussion on physician engagement in quality and safety, and a poster session.
The first annual Visionary Leadership in Quality and Safety award was presented to Dr. Lawrence Marks, and the Outstanding Achievement in A3 Thinking to radiation oncology nurse Daniel Duncan at 黑料网-Chapel Hill, and to Kimberly Kraft, manager of radiation oncology at 黑料网 Heath Care affiliate High Point Regional hospital.
