Congratulations to radiation oncologist Dr. Bhisham Chera for scoring in the top quartile nationally on a patient satisfaction survey. One survey question asked whether patients would recommend their physician to friends and family, and more than 94% of Dr. Chera鈥檚 patients answered 鈥淵es, definitely!鈥� Dr. Chera received a 2015 黑料网 Health Care and 黑料网 Faculty Physicians Award for Carolina Care Excellence for his efforts.
Meanwhile, radiation oncologist Dr. Mahesh Varia has also been honored at a ceremony for the 黑料网 Health Care Employee Ambassadors. Ambassadors are 黑料网 Healthcare employees who perform more than 50 hours a year of community service. Dr. Varia has for many years done volunteer work in remote international locations through the Association of Indian Physicians of Northern Ohio.
