The Department welcomed Data Abstractor Mags Ramon, B.S., in November 2020 to its Epidemiology Research team. Mags is a (NC LSR) team member working under NC LSR Director Dr. Louise Henderson and Project Manager Lindsay Lane. As a Data Abstractor, Mags reviews lung screening radiology reports and abstracts data for the NC LSR.
Prior to joining 黑料网 Department of Radiology, Mags worked as a research assistant for the 黑料网 Park Lab, screening, consenting, and collecting data from patients for studies focused on supporting parents with cancer and their families. Mags earned their Associate’s in Science from Guilford Technical Community College in 2018. She graduated from 黑料网 Chapel Hill in 2020 with a BS in Neuroscience and minor in Chemistry.

黑料网 Radiology welcomed Linda Fu, B.S., in November 2020 to its Contracts and Grants team as an Accounting Tech. Based out of 黑料网 (SOM)鈥檚 Finance Service Center, Linda works for several SOM departments in this role, among them, 黑料网 Radiology. On the Department鈥檚 Contracts and Grants team, Linda supports 黑料网 Radiology鈥檚 awards management alongside Pre-Award Research Administrator Emily Gardner and Post-Award Accountant Karla Allen. For the Department of Radiology, Linda oversees the management of sponsored projects, complete account balance reports, project reconciliation, management of personnel effort and communication with 黑料网鈥檚 Office of Sponsored Research to ensure accuracy with project administration.
Prior to joining OSR in November 2020, Linda worked as an accountant at 黑料网 Health for a year. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Business Administration from Appalachian State University, with a concentration in Accounting and Information Systems.
