- Work with a coach is client-led. Coaches do not direct, prescribe, provide interventions, or advise them on what the coach thinks is best.
- Work is done through an evidence-based process that clients can utilize for the rest of their life to make sustainable lifestyle habits.
- Coaches are a thinking partner and collaboratively work to build a plan that works best for a client where they are today and their lives.
- Clients are connected to resources and behavior change ideas in a “just-in time” format – when it’s relevant to the piece of the puzzle they need next, and they are ready and able to take action on something.
