Altitudes
Altitudes is a moderated social media and online learning platform for parents, caregivers, and other supporters of individuals living with early psychosis. The platform is a place for you to talk to other individuals with similar experiences, access educational material, give and receive support, and learn new strategies for stress relief and managing your current circumstances—all with the support of a team of clinical moderators and family workers. This platform is integrated in care at Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) programs across the state of North Carolina and available to families supporting a young person experiencing psychosis in NC.
We have also recently completed recruitment of parents, caregivers, and other supporters of individuals living with early psychosis to complete questionnaires about your experiences, well-being, and support to better understand your needs and the services you receive at the other FEP clinics. We are interested in the extent to which a digital intervention with human support can be beneficial to and supportive of families with loved ones early in the course of psychotic illness.
