With our partners at Embody Carolina<\/a>, the ºÚÁÏÍø Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders has been on the ground floor of developing education for students to serve as compassionate and effective allies to those struggling with eating disorders.<\/p>\n We are proud to work closely and collaboratively with our partners at international and national advocacy organizations including the National Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders<\/a> (NCEED), the\u00a0National Eating Disorder Association<\/a> (NEDA), the Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA), the\u00a0Eating Disorders Coalition<\/a> (EDC), Families Empowered And Supporting <\/a>Treatment of Eating Disorders <\/a>(FEAST) and World Eating Disorders Action Day<\/a>, and Project Heal<\/a>.<\/p>\n The National Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders<\/a> (NCEED) is the nation\u2019s first center of excellence dedicated to eating disorders.<\/p>\n Founded in 2018 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, NCEED’s mission is to advance education and training of healthcare providers and to promote public awareness of eating disorders and eating disorder treatment.<\/p>\n Based at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NCEED includes clinicians, researchers, and advocates who specialize in eating disorder care and are committed to providing up-to-date, reliable, and evidence-based information.<\/p>\n NCEED’s goal is to ensure that all individuals with eating disorders are identified, treated, and supported in recovery.
