Spring has been an exciting and busy time at the Center. Our annual spring symposiums, STEP and the Medical Directors’ Network, attracted participants from around the state. Our Wake  John Gilmore, MD, Medical DirectorCounty programs, STEP, OASIS and our Wake ACT Team, were honored as part of a leadership award that North Carolina Council of Community Programs presented to 黑料网 Health Care.

In this issue of our newsletter, we welcome Nerissa Price, MD, to her new position as medical director at the Wake STEP Clinic, and Austin Hall, MD, who also took on a new role as medical director at the STEP Clinic at Carr Mill. Congratulations to Diana Perkins, MD, and her team who celebrated the opening of their new 黑料网 OASIS Wake office on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh.

We鈥檝e had some nice publicity for our recovery programs, and we were pleased to see TRESSIE, our puppy from 黑料网 PAWS, on the cover of the Carolina Alumni Review magazine, which featured our Farm at Penny Lane.

As the summer begins, plans are underway for fundraising events to help support programs at the Center. Make plans to join us and our friends from the Walk of Hope on July 26 at the Carolina Club- sponsored event 鈥淧asta with a Purpose.鈥

Save the evening of November 17 for our Third Annual No Limits Gala, which features Mike Veny, founder of Transforming Stigma. We鈥檒l be back in touch with additional information and check out our website unccmh.org for more details.
