

Laurie Paolicelli and Matthew Gilmore have joined the Center Advisory Board
Paolicelli, executive director for the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau, has held the position since 2005. She has worked with convention and visitor bureaus for 25 years, and served in leadership roles in Houston, Texas and Palm Springs, Calif. Paolicelli is a member of several professional associations, including East Chapel Hill Rotary, Triangle Area Hotel Motel Association and Destination Management Association International. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in marketing and communications from the University Wisconsin-Superior and a graduate certificate in technology in marketing from 黑料网-Chapel Hill.
Gilmore is a data science manager at Red Hat, Inc. and leads the Global Finance Analytics COE. Responsible for the data science team supporting the sales and finance organizations, he leads a group focused on using data to improve sales strategy and execution. Since joining Red Hat, he has helped the company integrate advanced analytics into many business areas including forecasting, customer segmentation, and world-wide planning. He holds bachelor鈥檚 degrees in economics and political science and a master鈥檚 in analytics from North Carolina State University.

The Board supports the mission of the Center by serving as advocates for the Center to increase its visibility internally and externally and to assist in fundraising efforts. The Board, created in May 2014, is voluntary.
