
Tim Martin, a member of Channing Der’s lab, successfully defended his thesis March 19, 2013 and received his Ph.D, graduating with Honors! Our Congratulations to Tim!The title of his dissertation is “The role and regulation of Ral GTPases in oncogenesis.”
Tim’s mom, Lou Martin of Raleigh NC, along with his dad and his wife, Tim and Mickie Martin of Jacksonville NC, attended his talk and party afterward along with other members of the Der lab.
Tim will be doing a postdoc with Steve Elledge at Harvard in the Genetics Department. We wish him all the best in his future research and all his endeavors!
