It was announced this week that Dr. Juan Song, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, is a recipient of the Society of Neuroscience (SfN) Janet Rosenberg Trubatch Career Development Award.
This award, previously known as the Career Development Award until 2011, was renamed in 2011 to honor Janett Rosenberg Trubatch. The Janett Rosenberg Trubatch Career Development Award recognizes originality and creativity in research for promising neuroscience researchers early in their careers.
Two recipients are awarded each year. Dr. Song’s nomination was selected from among many very strong nominations.
The award carries a cash award as well complimentary registration to SfN’s annual meeting. The award is presented at the held during the meeting.
