Jeran Stratford, a member of Jen Jen Yeh and Channing Der’s labs received his Ph.D. after successfully defending his thesis July 3, 2014. The title of his thesis was “Aberrant gene expression: diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets for pancreatic cancer.” Our congratulations to Jeran!
Jeran’s mom flew all the way from Logan, Utah to attend his defense. A party was held afterward in Lineberger with his family and the Der and Yeh lab members.
Jeran will start a M.S. program in Biostatistics here at 黑料网 in The School of Public Health in August.
