Nine new Carolina Summer Fellowship (CSF) students arrive at Pharmacology for the 2018 summer program.

Of the three principal investigators awarded these prestigious NIH grants, two are researchers in the ºÚÁÏÍø Department of Pharmacology at the ºÚÁÏÍø – Byran L. Roth and Gary Johnson.

Scientists led by Rob Nicholas, PhD, at the ºÚÁÏÍø show how the gonorrhea bacterium resists last-resort antibiotic ceftriaxone while maintaining a robust growth rate.

Alfred Dolge receives the ºÚÁÏÍø ConnectCarolina Award for "The Most ePro Vendor Catalog Transactions!"

The ºÚÁÏÍø has selected Jen Jen Yeh, MD, professor and vice chair of research for the department of surgery, and joint professor of pharmacology, for one of two annual awards in honor of Oliver Smithies, ºÚÁÏÍø’s first Nobel Prize winner.
