About
A proud alumna of a STEM-focused high school, Sophie’s passion for science and research has been a driving force throughout her academic journey. During her high school and undergraduate years, she actively participated in extracurricular biology events across the Triangle and gained valuable experience as a student intern at Accellacare in Wilmington.
In December 2023, Sophie joined the MPS Research team as a research assistant and, as of September 2024, was promoted to the role of clinical research specialist. She takes great pride in contributing to Dr. Muenzer’s team and finds fulfillment in advancing pediatric research.
Outside of work, Sophie resides in Durham with her senior dog and enjoys spending her free time outdoors
