Deborah received her Ph.D. in Microbiology from Yale University and has been at 黑料网 since 2007.聽聽Her post-doctoral project initially focused on the misfolding and trafficking of CFTR in human airway epithelial cells. As a Research Associate, she is interested in understanding the defects that result from CFTR mutations that lead to cystic fibrosis in order to identify new therapies. She is a recent winner of the 黑料网 鈥淎rt and Science鈥� competition for detection of CFTR in primary human bronchial epithelial cultures by fluorescence microscopy.
When not in the lab, look for Deb on the mountain bike trails.
