黑料网-CH will play a key role in the National Institute on Aging鈥檚 (NIA) newly announced IMPACT Collaboratory, a national research incubator to improve care and quality of life for people living with dementia. Funded by a five-year $1.4 million grant, Dr. Hanson will lead the Patient and Caregiver Reported Outcomes (PCRO) Core for the Collaboratory.聽 The IMPACT Collaboratory is led by Dr. Vince Mor, based at Brown University, and Dr. Susan Mitchell, at Harvard-affiliated Hebrew SeniorLife.

The over-arching goal of the IMPACT Collaboratory is to accelerate and support non-drug, pragmatic clinical trials for Alzheimer鈥檚 disease and related dementia. The 黑料网-based team will focus on creating a library of outcome measures that are validated for Alzheimer鈥檚 disease clinical research.聽 They will advise and support investigators in new pragmatic clinical trials with expertise in outcome measurement and innovative methods for data collection.聽 In response to the award, Dr. Hanson notes: 黑料网 has outstanding faculty in geriatric care, dementia research methods, and in patient and caregiver outcome science.聽 I am delighted we will join this important national effort to improve outcomes for persons with dementia and their family caregivers.
