Research Opportunity
We are always looking for enthusiastic undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers to join our lab. Our research focuses on understanding the aging effects of non-coding RNAs and proteomic profiles in musculoskeletal diseases, with the goal of uncovering mechanisms to enhance endogenous tissue repair.
Our projects involve a range of translational and basic science techniques, including:
- Human joint specimen collection and processing聽from orthopedic surgeries.
- Tissue sectioning and staining聽to evaluate histological and structural changes.
- Single-cell isolations聽to study cellular heterogeneity within musculoskeletal tissues.
- Nucleic acid and protein extractions聽for transcriptomic, proteomic, and molecular analyses.
- Data processing and analysis聽using advanced statistical and bioinformatics approaches.
We aim to provide hands-on training and mentorship tailored to each lab member’s career stage and interests. Lab members are encouraged to present their work at conferences, develop independent research ideas, and contribute to publications.
If you鈥檙e interested in becoming part of our team, please contact Dr. Hsueh for more information.
