Speaker Biography

About

Dr. Lisa Taitsman is a graduate of Brown University where she completed her undergraduate and medical studies. She earned her masters in public health at Harvard University. Following her residency in the Harvard Combined Orthopedic program, she completed a Trauma fellowship at Harborview Medical Center.

She is currently a Professor at University of Washington. She has presented at many medical meetings and has published several book chapters and articles.

Patient Care Philosophy

Dr. Taitsman is committed to delivering excellent trauma and fracture care with optimal clinical outcomes. Her focus is patient-centered, helping her patients restore functionality and resume their work and leisure activities post injury. Her philosophy is to provide top quality orthopedic care with compassion and competence.

Personal Interests

Dr. Taitsman, a transplant from the East Coast, enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating and other pursuits in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
