In the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings of the 50 top-performing children’s hospitals across the U.S. across 10 pediatric specialties, 黑料网鈥檚 Pediatric Orthopaedics service was named #23 among all pediatric orthopaedic programs. In the 2022-2023 report released mid-June, data analysis and surveys of thousands of pediatric specialists working at 119 children’s hospitals nationwide determined the 50 Best Children’s Hospitals for Orthopedics. Success in outcomes for pediatric orthopaedic treatment of complex fractures, surgical complications, infection prevention and conditions such as scoliosis, spina bifida and sports injuries provided a basis for scoring each hospital.聽
The high national rankings of orthopaedics and other pediatric specialties at 黑料网 Hospitals is backed by the high marks that 黑料网 Hospitals affiliates consistently score in U.S. News and World Report鈥檚 hospital report card. In the 2022-2023 rankings of children鈥檚 hospitals by region, North Carolina Children’s Hospital finished strong, tying for 5th place with Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC, among 21 children鈥檚 hospitals compared and ranked in the Southeast.

Several of the major developments within the Department have included the recent installation of EOS imaging, increased collaboration for multi-disciplinary children’s clinics, continued excellence in comprehensive scoliosis care, and dedicated surgical teams and protocols for complex surgery.
