Ocular Oncology is the specialty within ophthalmology that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer affecting the eye, orbit (eye socket) and eyelids. The Ocular Oncology service at 黑料网 works in conjunction with the expert team of oncologists at .

The Ocular Oncology Service was established in 2001 to provide the most up to date therapy for ophthalmic cancer patients in a caring and supportive atmosphere. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, patients are given immediate access to ancillary testing and consultation with radiation therapy specialists, geneticists and a variety of surgical services as needed in order to ensure the highest standard of care.

Dr. Miguel Materin specializes in intraocular tumors such as ocular melanoma, retinoblastoma, and intraocular lymphoma. Dr. Arpita Maniar specializes in treating a wide variety of benign and malignant ocular tumors, including melanoma, lymphoma, ocular metastasis and retinoblastoma, as well as squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma eyelid tumors. Dr. Mohammad Soleimani specializes in treating ocular surface tumors, including squamous carcinoma, melanoma, and carcinoma in situ.

Our oculoplastics team is comprised of Dr. Christopher Hwang and Dr. Daniel Rubinstein. This team takes care of biopsies, removal of eyelid tumors, eyelid reconstructive surgery, and the evaluation and treatment of orbital tumors.
