I have an interest in early identification, biological markers, and intervention for neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), such as autism and Down syndrome. I am investigating metrics of arousal/reactivity to social and nonsocial stimuli and associated neurobiology and behavior as a possible biomarker of later social communication deficits. I work closely with preclinical scientists to ensure that our methods are maximally translatable across species.
