Current academic interests:
1. Artificial intelligence in cardiovascular health and disease. Utility in improved diagnosis, prognostication and personalized clinical care.
2. Mitral valve prolapse and sudden death – risk stratification and management
3. Sudden cardiac death risk in renal disease (collaborative)
Clinical focus within EP:
1. Ventricular tachycardia management – prevention and treatment (ICDs, medications, ablation)
2. Atrial fibrillation and heart failure
3. Stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation
4. Novel device therapies for heart failure: early adopter (eg cardiac contraction modulation therapy)
