Why Obstetrics and Gynecology?
While completing my residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, I was drawn to Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) as a sub-specialty. I became interested in the spectrum of chronic pelvic pain, particularly endometriosis, from the pathophysiology of the disease to diagnosis and treatment. I also wanted to further develop my surgical skills in order to tackle more complex benign gynecologic cases. A fellowship in MIGS combines my academic interest in gynecologic disease and treatment with my love of being in the operating room.
Why 黑料网?
Returning to 黑料网 for fellowship is like a homecoming for me, as I went to 黑料网 for my undergraduate education. 黑料网 MIGS is well known not only for rigorous surgical training and research but also for having an incredibly supportive, team-based environment. I am excited to be completing my fellowship training surrounded by some of the best gynecologic surgeons and physicians in the world.
