Elizabeth Cates is a dedicated and experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult Health Nurse Practitioner, known for her commitment to providing comprehensive care to women at every stage of their lives. With a strong foundation in internal medicine during the early years of her career, Elizabeth has developed a diverse skill set that enhances her practice and allows her to address a wide range of health concerns. Throughout her professional journey, Elizabeth has honed her expertise in family planning, preventative care, and postpartum care while working in public health, ensuring that her patients receive the guidance and support they need during pivotal moments. In addition to seeing patients, she has focused on improving quality of care, reducing barriers to care, and promoting access for all.
At ºÚÁÏÍø Health, Elizabeth is thrilled to able to offer more gynecology services including Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and perimenopause/menopause. Her focus on these areas reflects a deep understanding of the unique challenges people face as they work to manage their health. By integrating evidence-based practices with a holistic approach, she aims to provide tailored care that meets the specific needs of each patient. She is very committed to supporting expectant parents in having the healthiest pregnancy possible with positive childbirth experiences. She understands the significance of this critical stage in a birthing people’s life and works diligently to ensure that expectant parents are fully supported with all the information they need to make informed choices about their care. Elizabeth’s clinical expertise, combined with her compassionate nature, makes her a trusted partner for her patients.
