Robert Statts, who currently serves as chief accounting officer and budget analyst for the departments of Neurology and Urology, will begin serving as interim associate chair for administration in the Department of Neurology on March 17.
Robert Smith III, PhD, previously served as the Department of Neurology鈥檚 associate chair for administration. In February, Smith聽聽vice dean of the 黑料网 Gillings School of Global Public Health.
Prior to his work as chief accounting officer and budget analyst, Statts served as finance manager for the 黑料网 Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center from 2017 through 2018, and as a financial business officer and post-award grant administrator for the 黑料网 from 2015 through 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Columbia-Greene Community College.
