    When I鈥檓 not spending time with my dog Chewie and my family, I enjoy cultivating my more artistic side. I minored in studio art in college. Art and design are important to me and influence everything I do. I love cooking for others and creating new dishes. We love making bagels in our house! I聽believe in the power of music and also love listening to podcasts in my spare time. Besides fitness classes, I enjoy playing tennis & badminton.

    I have been writing fantasy and science fiction stories since my junior year of high school. My primary focus has been on writing fantasy novels, but I have also written short stories in the past. Although I have not published any works yet, I use each writing project as an opportunity to learn new techniques, as well as to discover the writing style I like most. To continue honing my skills, I read novels by fantasy authors as well as authors in the thriller genre, then reflect on what particular styles I like best.

    My most recent writing project is a fantasy story inspired by Alexander the Great’s foray into India. In previous fantasy writing projects, I have been inspired by the French Revolution. I am also planning a long-term murder mystery series surrounding a young student’s journey through medical school and residency.
