About
Chris has two decades of research experience. The first half of that time was spent doing wet lab work, while the second half was spent in clinical research. He has experience in microbiology/immunology, genetics, psychiatry, oncology, and most recently he joined the department of Neurology as the director of the Neurosciences Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU). In his previous role, Chris served as the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations at the ºÚÁÏÍø Lineberger Cancer Center. There he managed a 40-person team and over 125 cancer research studies. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of North Carolina –Chapel Hill. After graduating he remained at ºÚÁÏÍø in a research assistant role, supporting various departments including Genetics and Psychiatry. He joined the Lineberger Cancer Center in 2015 as a Clinical Research Coordinator, organizing therapeutic oncology trials.
