Ranked #20 in Pediatric Neurology and Neurosurgery by World & News Report, we are committed to training well-rounded child neurologists ready to excel in this rapidly evolving field. With a tradition dating back to the very inception of child neurology as a field, our program is dedicated to shape future leaders in clinical and academic realms.

The program is designed to provide you with a strong foundation in general neurology and child neurology, as well as a vast exposure to a wide range of subspecialties. Our alumni have gone on to serve and thrive in diverse settings, from community-based clinical practices, to cutting-edge subspecialty academic environments.Ìý

Child Neurology Residency Program Director

Program Mission

The goal of the ºÚÁÏÍø Child Neurology Residency Program is to train outstanding clinical neurologists and to foster our residents’ interest in teaching and academic neurology. This is accomplished through extensive exposure to clinical neurology and thoughtful didactics in a collegial and nurturing environment. Through the course of our training program, residents progressively obtain greater independence and autonomy as they gain more experience in managing patients.

Child Neurology residents frequently train alongside the Adult Neurology residents. In this video, “A Day in the Life of a ºÚÁÏÍø Adult Neurology Resident,” you’ll take a fun tour of the facilities and gain some insight into the life of a resident here at ºÚÁÏÍø.
