Saleena is a third-year student at ºÚÁÏÍø Chapel Hill majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Business Administration. She began her undergraduate at the Matera Lab at ºÚÁÏÍø in 2024, studying histone modifications and creating genetic crosses. In 2025, she started working at the Prem Lab, working on foci and bead counting through the microscope. Additionally, she has served as a clinical intern at the Hey Clinic Scoliosis and Spine Care. After graduation, she hopes to attend medical school. Her hobbies include travelling, running, and reading.
