Congratulations to the , Randall B. Terry, Jr. Distinguished Professor in Regenerative Medicine, Department of Molecular Biomedical Sciences, NC State University and /NCSU Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering; Adjunct Professor, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, for publishing paper, titled “Platelet membrane and stem cell exosome hybrids enhance cellular uptake and targeting to heart injury” in the journal .
The work from Dr. Ke Cheng’s lab was led by postdoctoral scientist, Shiqi Hu, and introduces a new approach to modify therapeutic exosomes with platelet membrane to make them disease targetable.
