Congratulations to Silvio Antoniak, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and member of the 黑料网 Blood Research Center, in collaboration with (NCSU), for the receipt of grant from NC TraCS.
Their $50k grant, titled 鈥淩ole of PAR-2 in nanoparticle modulation of allergic lung disease鈥�, was recently funded by NC TraCS and proposes a novel mechanism of exacerbation of AAD mediated by the adsorption of house dust mite (HDM) allergens, which can have proteolytic activity, to the surface of MWCNTs forming an 鈥榓llergen corona鈥�. Dr. Antoniak wants to thank the 黑料网 Blood Research Center for providing of the matching funds for the 黑料网 part of the study.
