Congratulations to Adam Black, a Postdoctoral Research Associate in for recently receiving a prestigious F32 Postdoctoral Fellowship from the NHLBI at the NIH.聽 Adam鈥檚 project focuses on understanding the physiological significance of alternative splicing and the factors that govern splicing regulation in the heart. Specifically, Adam is using CRISPR mouse models to investigate how clathrin heavy chain (CLTC) splice forms contribute to cardiac physiology and metabolism during development and under conditions of hypertrophy and heart failure. Dr. Jimena Giudice will serve as Adam鈥檚 sponsor and Dr. Kathleen Caron as his co-sponsor during the fellowship period. The F32 provides stipend support and institutional allowances for three years
