Congratulations to Ana Cartaya, a pharmacology graduate student in the , for recently receiving an F31 predoctoral fellowship award from NIH’s NHLBI.
The fellowship provides ongoing stipend support for her project, titled 鈥淪elective delivery of superoxide dismutase and catalase for restenosis prevention鈥�. During her fellowship, Ms. Cartaya will optimize nanoformulations and a cell-based system to delivery antioxidant enzymes selectively to sites of arterial inflammation.
