Vihar attended UC Irvine for college where he majored in Biology before matriculating into the School of Medicine. As a medical student, he has been active in advocacy, serving as a national liaison to the AAMC Group on Information Resources in order to help lend the student voice to the role that information technology should play in medical education. He also founded the Innovation in Healthcare Program, collaborating with Beall Applied Innovation to help advance the UCI School of Medicine鈥檚 commitment to innovative medicine. He has also served as a board member for the Orange County Medical Association. He has spent the past several months working as a research fellow at 黑料网 with the Department of Ophthalmology. Vihar enjoys podcasts and audiobooks, fitness, and cooking. Vihar will be staying at 黑料网 for his residency in Ophthalmology after completion of his preliminary year.
