John grew up in North Carolina and attended 黑料网 for college where he graduated with degrees in Economics and Psychology. After college, John worked as a statistical analyst for a healthcare focused company and later worked as a data marketing analyst for Google in California for two years. John has been committed to service and mentorship, working as a suicide counselor for The Trevor Project, helping at risk LGBTQ+ youth. He also worked to implement a Lifestyle Medicine practice at the public safety net hospital and serves as a tutor for first year medical students. John speaks Spanish and participated in the Patient Centered Medicine Program in which he was paired with a preceptor in a predominantly Spanish speaking community. John is looking forward to returning to North Carolina!
