Nicholas J. Shaheen, MD, MPH,聽Bozymski-Heizer Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and John Buse, MD, PhD, Verne S. Caviness Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, are Co-Principal Investigators and Co-Directors of NC TraCS.


NC TraCS has secured a seven-year, $70 million Clinical and Translational Science Award from the NIH to accelerate high-impact research that improves human health and advances health equity. The latest grant will provide continued funding for the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute, the academic hub of the CTSA program at 黑料网-Chapel Hill鈥檚 School of Medicine.
