Lindsay Wilson is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine.
What is your clinical expertise?
I have a special interest in delirium, but my overall clinical expertise is in the care of older patients. I enjoy helping older adults maximize their quality of life and reach their individual health goals.
Tell us about your current role in the Department of Medicine.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine. I see clinic patients at the 黑料网 Geriatric Specialty Clinic, The Cedars Retirement Community, and Galloway Ridge, where I am the Associate Medical Director. I also spend 4 weeks per year rounding with residents and fellows on the inpatient Geriatric Medicine service. Most of the rest of my time is focused on working with the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) as the liaison from the Department of Medicine and teaching medical students. I am the course director or co-course director for four medical student courses, and I am a tutor for the Patient Centered Care course and small group leader for the Healer’s Art Course.
What current project or initiative at 黑料网 are you involved in that you are excited about?
I feel so blessed to be a part of the 黑料网 TEC curriculum, especially as co-director of the Transition Course. Dr. Christopher Klipstein, also from the Department of Medicine, and I have one week with students right before they begin their clinical years, and it so exciting and inspiring to be able to share our insights and knowledge at this crucial time.

I love the camaraderie among the 黑料网 healthcare providers. I feel we all work well together as a team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
