Dr. Hightow-Weidman is an Associate Professor of Medicine with the Division of Infectious Diseases in 黑料网鈥檚 Department of Medicine. She鈥檚 also the principal investigator of , a project that has received $18 million in NIH funding to develop technology-based interventions for youth who are at-risk for or infected with HIV.
Her research focuses on improving patient outcomes with technological innovations that connect people with healthcare. Mobile apps and virtual reality tools offer promising ways to connect people, particularly youth, with essential human services.
