Michael Herce, MD, MPH, MSc, assistant professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases, participated in a Q&A video, in Spanish, in an effort to reach Latino communities and encourage participation in COVID-19 clinical trials. The Latino communities in North Carolina and across the U.S. have been disproportionally affected by the coronavirus, which makes it even more important that vaccines and treatments developed are effective in this population.
