
Researchers at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine are working to better understand how addressing health-related social needs improves health outcomes for people with type 2 diabetes.
The research is funded by a five-year, nearly $3 million award from the U.S. National Institutes of Health and led by Seth Berkowitz, M.D., M.P.H., a research fellow at the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and assistant professor at the ºÚÁÏÍø’s division of general medicine and clinical epidemiology.
