
Alice Ma, MD, FACP, professor of medicine and fellowship director in the division of hematology and oncology, has been elected to serve on the Internal Medicine Residency Review Committee for the (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education). Nominated by the American Society of Hematology and the American Medical Association, Dr. Ma is one of 25 members who will oversee more than 2,200 internal medicine residency and fellowship programs nationwide. In her role, Dr. Ma will take part in ACGME evaluation and accreditation of training programs, reviewing new programs as well as those that require 10-year reviews, and also programs with deficiencies or areas of concern. Dr. Ma will serve for six years.
