Prior to graduate school, Hillary discovered public health while living in Western Kenya and assisting with a series of esophageal cancer research studies. She spent a year at the National Cancer Institute鈥檚 Center for Global Health, working on cancer control policy in sub-Saharan Africa, and with the Kenya Ministry of Health in Nairobi, collaborating on cancer registry data analysis and training. Before starting her PhD, Hillary received her M.Sc. in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health with a concentration in infectious disease epidemiology.
At 黑料网, Hillary works with 黑料网 Project-Malawi, conducting analysis on studies investigating sickle cell disease, Burkitt鈥檚 lymphoma, cervical cancer, and the RTS,S malaria vaccine. Her current research focuses on the epidemiology of asymptomatic and clinical malaria in Malawi.
