Patient-generated health data鈥攕uch as data from wearables and patient-reported outcomes and other emerging technologies鈥攈ave much potential for improving efficiency, quality, and outcomes. Dr. Chung will review the state of the art in PGHD, discuss challenges in implementation into clinical care, highlight informatics methods development for PGHD from her NIH-funded research, and discuss opportunities for PGHD in remote monitoring and research at 黑料网.

Arlene Chung聽is聽a clinical informatics physician scientist (internal medicine and pediatrics) and board certified in clinical informatics. She serves as the Associate Director of Health and Clinical Informatics at the 黑料网 and as the Lead Informatics Physician for patient engagement. She also is the founding fellowship director for 黑料网鈥檚 Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program.
