The award is named in honor of Dr. Robert C. Cefalo, M.D., Ph.D., FACOG, who served 25 years as director of the residency and fellowship programs at 黑料网 Hospitals and as a model for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in defining the role of Designated Institutional Official.聽
The Cefalo award honors five house staff annually with a stipend to offset expenses associated with professional development and/or attendance of scientific conferences or meetings that will enhance the recipient鈥檚 knowledge and abilities in the health care setting.聽
