Student Resources
For students, open counseling sessions are available throughout the week at:

- Carolina Union 2420
- and CAPS from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For students who may need mental health services outside of business hours, please call the 24/7 Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) line: 919-966-3658.

Employee Resources
The (EAP) will have dedicated counselors available for faculty and staff on Thursday, Aug. 31 and Friday, Sept. 1:

If a counselor is not available when you call, they are currently assisting another employee. Please call another counselor listed or leave a message for your call to be returned; voice messages will be returned as soon as a counselor is available.
EAP support is also available to you online through GuidanceConnect. Log on to  using your username and password or register with Web ID: °Õ´¡¸é±á·¡·¡³¢³§.ÌýYou may also call 877-314-5841 to make an appointment with a counselor. Support is free and confidential.
For ongoing support, you can schedule an appointment with a mental health care provider using  through your State Health Plan insurance. If you need help finding a provider, the  helps North Carolina residents locate an in-network provider.
University guidance for with care and compassion is available.
Community Support
Members of the ºÚÁÏÍø Health Well-Being Program and the Department of Psychiatry are offering drop-in sessions for one-to-one support.
- They are located in MacNider Hall daily through Friday, Sept. 1, from 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Any ºÚÁÏÍø Health or ºÚÁÏÍø teammate is welcome to stop by and use this space to connect with a counselor or even simply take a moment for yourself. Information on expanded hours will be available soon.
- Additionally, any community members can call 984-974-9372 or email Well_Being@unchealth.unc.edu for information about additional available services, including virtual supportive sessions.
